xxxHolic - Pipe Fox Charm

This is the little xxxHolic Pipe Fox Charmed Necklace I was commissioned to make for someone.

The charm is completely handmade out of polymer clay with metal armature for added strength, and painted with acrylics. It stands about 1 inch tall, the charm is wrapped around a clear tube to make it less fragile and perfect for everyday wear.

I normally never make anything with such thin pieces because I make my jewelry to last and thin pieces are doomed to break, but I was able to make this little guy around a tube that should keep him safe a long time. I'm not especially knowledgeable about xxxHolic, so I wasn't familiar with the character to begin with, but I hope I made it alright. It was a fun challenge and I'll certainly use this method of armature again in the future.
