Zelda - Spiritual Stones Ornament Setby *YellerCrakka

This is a Set of Spiritual Stone Ornaments, based on the items from the Legend of Zelda Series, I made as part of an art trade with *raiyneofgailin .

The ornaments are each made out of polymer clay, with hollow foil cores to make them lighter in weight, and painted with metallic acrylics. Each one is between 3.5 - 4 inches in diameter, as you can see in the size comparison photos in the palm of my hand.

The Kokiri Emerald, Zora Sapphire, and Goron Ruby as ornaments, it was such a cool idea, I just had to make them! I don't normally make such big items, but the client wanted them to be big enough to stand out in the tree and be about the same size as the other traditional glass ornaments, so they are some of the largest pieces I've ever made. That being said, I'm pretty pleased with how light they turned out too, it was quite a challenge, but they won't weigh down the branches, so it was worth it. Overall I am very happy with how they turned out, and I am glad the client liked them enough to add these super geeky accents to their Christmas tree. I'll have to make a set to keep for myself for next year, hehe!
