Stargate Atlantis Space Trout

This is my first attempt at making fan art based on a real life person and not a drawing.

I was so sad when my favorite character, Carson Beckett, died before he was able to go fishing that I just had to draw a picture of him fulfilling his wish, just to put my mind at ease.

As you can see, he caught himself a lovely space trout, and his wee baby turtles are there to cheer him on (the turtles I assume died because they missed Carson so much).

I drew this without a reference picture so some of the details of the uniform are a little off, but I think it turned out pretty good for my first attempt. The lines I drew in ink, then scanned it in, and colored it in Painter and Photoshop.
