Star Trek - Logo Charm Necklace - Handmade

This is a little Star Trek Logo Necklace, based on one of the many different symbols from the series, I was commissioned to make for someone.

The charm is completely handmade out of polymer clay and hand painted with acrylics, no computer print outs used. The pendant is about one inch tall, a small and tasteful piece of geekery to compliment any fan's wardrobe.

My partner is more the Star Trek fan than I am, so I don't personally know a lot about the history of this particular design, but I've always thought is was an especially cool looking logo, so I was happy to take on this commission. What I liked best about making this, was mixing the steel blue color, so it's not just plain silver, I think metallic things specifically look much more alive with a little bit of an undercolor.
