Description
This is Raiden, the Custom Raichu Sculpture I was commissioned to make for *LavenderAzoth.
The sculpture is completely handmade out of polymer clay with metal armature for added strength, painted with matte and metallic acrylics. The necklace is real ball chain, with tiny 5mm long dog tags with Raiden hand painted on the front. The figurine is just under 2.5 inches tall including the tops of the headphones.
This was the most challenging commission I have gotten in a while, but Raichu is one of my favorite Pokemon as well, so I really put all my effort into this little guy. I tried to pick a pose that I thought matched the character's personality, but still did something unique with the tail, which was one of the hardest parts, I refuse to make thin pieces without armature, but it's so hard to do ropes! I am very happy with how he turned out personally and I hope I get more commissions for sculptures because I love having a big enough canvas to really like my creativity and skill run wild!
