Pokemon - Dragonair Charm Ringby *YellerCrakka

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry / Rings

This is a special little Dragonair Charm Ring, based on the character from Pokemon, I was commissioned to make for someone.

The charm is completely handmade out of polymer clay with metal armature for added durability, and painted with acrylics. It is attached to an adjustable band ring.

This is only the second ring I have ever made, the reason I don't make more is because rings are such a high-impact piece of jewelry, I don't want to make anything that would break with regular use. The client originally wanted the Dragonair to go around the finger and have the body be the actual ring, but I'm really more of a charm maker than a jewelry maker, so this was our compromise. I think it turned out quite well, but Dragonair is such a beautiful design, it's hard to go wrong.
