Miniature Dachshund Charm

This is a little Miniature Dachshund charm I made for my sister-in-law's birthday.

It is made of polymer clay and painted with acrylics. The dog tag is carved as well as painted, and the brown/tan marking reflect the markings of the dog it was based on. The charm is about one inch in length, larger than a nickel.

My sister-in-law is the ' pet parent ' of an adorable little Miniature Dachshund named Princess Smoochy Gucci! She is the winner of the 2006 'Wiener Nationals' dog race, and is very loved by all her fans and family, so she just had to be immortalized in charm form. She is a princess, so she has a pink collar of course, with a red heart shaped ID tag. She's so cute, she even has a little heart shaped mark on her bum!
